On February 6th, 2025, Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay was deeply honored by the City of St. Petersburg, Florida, as Mayor Ken Welch and the City Council issued a proclamation recognizing our ongoing recovery efforts following Hurricanes Helene and Milton. This special proclamation highlights our dedication to not only rebuilding homes but also restoring hope for those who have been impacted by the devastation of these storms.

Since the hurricanes hit, our team has been working tirelessly to provide critical repairs, ensuring that families have safe, stable housing as they continue to rebuild their lives. But our journey doesn't stop here. While we celebrate this recognition, we remain steadfast in our commitment to long-term recovery. We're determined to keep repairing homes, supporting communities, and making sure families have a solid foundation for years to come.

This recognition was further amplified by TIME’s 2024 Dreamer of the Year honor, which we’re incredibly proud of. It’s a testament to the tireless work of our dedicated team and the unwavering support of our partners, volunteers, and the communities we serve.

We couldn’t have reached this point without you, and we look forward to continuing our journey together to strengthen Florida, one home at a time.
