Volunteer Application

RTTB needs skilled, general and behind-the-scenes volunteers in order to keep homeowners warm, safe, and dry. Join in deliberate acts of kindness. As RTTB volunteers finish their work, they carry with them a sense of accomplishment, the joy that comes from helping someone, and the need to do more.

General Volunteers

Are you interested, but unsure about your repair skills? No matter, all we require is a willingness to roll up one's sleeves. Everyone can contribute to the effort. In some cases, general volunteers work with and learn from a skilled tradesperson. Others work independently or within a small group on projects such as demolition, painting, house cleaning, and small repairs. Complete the volunteer form, and we'll contact you about helping.

House Captains (hc) and Volunteer Captains (vc)

House and Volunteers Captains are the backbone of RTTB, providing volunteer leadership by adopting one or more home projects each year. Captains participate in homeowner selection, work scope development, and volunteer recruitment as well as execute all aspects of the repair work.
