    Volunteers from various Rodeway Inn properties in Tampa dedicated their time to help one family in our community keep their home and its value by making critical home repairs and renovations. Janetta Matthew is a 35-year-old single mother that came to Tampa in 1989 from the small island of Nevis in the Caribbean. Janetta has two beautiful daughters, Lakeema (19) and Janecia (6). Since 1997, Janetta has been working at Sweetbay Supermarket where presently she is a Front Desk Service Leader. This project was one of 4 Rebuilding Together projects awarded a grant by the Rodeway Inn Owners Association focused on repairing the homes of low-income family. The partnership -- named “Room to Rebuild” -- is part of the ongoing commitment by Choice Hotels to strengthen the local communities, in which their associates and franchisees live, work and provide hospitality. Choice Hotels is also a presenting sponsor of the Rebuilding Together United We Serve projects occurring on September 11th as a response to President Obama’s national call for service.
