Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay partnered with local and national companies to Improve the Lives of Military Families at Home

On Saturday, November 7, 2007, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, more than 200 volunteers helped renovate the homes of several veterans in Plant City, West Tampa, Pinellas Park and St. Petersburg. The project was part of Rebuilding Together Veterans Housing Program a partnership between Rebuilding Together and Sears Holdings Corporation and Honeywell

Sears Holdings Heroes The Heroes at Home Program strives to improve the lives of military families in need across America by making necessary repairs, improvements or modifications to their homes. Sears customers can participate in this initiative by making a donation at registers or on sears.com, or by using their Sears card or purchasing a Sears gift card.

Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay, Board President Connie Johnson stated, “We are extremely excited and proud to team with Sears and Honeywell to assist military families within our community.”
